Itinerary
Day 1: Pick Up At JKIA /Hotel - Lake Nakuru National Park
Pick up from Nairobi hotel / Nairobi Airport Depart for the lake Nakuru National Park. An easy scenic sightseeing drive via the great rift valley escarpment with views of awesome scenery. There shall be stops to marvel at the dramatic fall of the great rift valley escarpment. We shall stop at the Freshwater Lake Naivasha for an exciting boat ride to view hippos, exotic birds and small game. This shall be followed by guided walking safari at the Crescent Island. Later proceed to the Lake Nakuru arriving during the late morning. The Lake Nakuru National Park is home to black and white rhino, lions, warthogs, giraffes, zebra and other small game. It also hosts large number of bird species including Pelicans and sometimes a sizable Flamingo population. Afternoon shall be spent on bird and game watching drives around the Lake. Overnight at your lake Nakuru National Park safari lodge/ tented camp.
Day 2: Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha
Embark on a captivating day trip to Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha, departing from Nairobi. At Lake Nakuru National Park, enjoy an exciting game drive amidst abundant wildlife, including lions, buffalos, giraffes, and the iconic pink flamingos congregating along the lake’s shores. Visit the rhino sanctuary, a vital conservation area for black and white rhinos.
Afterward, head to Lake Naivasha and relish a delightful lunch by the lake. Take a boat ride to observe hippos and diverse bird species, or opt for a unique walk among wildebeests, zebras, and giraffes on Crescent Island. As the day winds down, witness the mesmerizing sunset over Lake Naivasha before returning to Nairobi, cherishing the memorable experiences of this nature-filled day in Kenya.
Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge
Day 3: Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara National Reserve - Full Day
Full Day – Masai Mara Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza! Masai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the savannah. It is host to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region. The scenic appeal of the tree studded savannah plains, the moderate climate and diversity of wild game species makes it a one stop shop for game viewing activities. We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game. Picnic lunch shall be by the Mara river as we watch hippos and crocodiles or maybe the great migration (July – October).
Day 4: Masai Mara Game Reserve - Nairobi
Have breakfast and proceed to to an early morning game viewing drive at the Masai Mara game reserve. Depart Masai Mara in the mid – morning and proceed to Nairobi. There shall be a lunch stop along the way. Arrive Nairobi in the late afternoon, approximately 4:30 pm.
