After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive approximately 120km west to the town of Ampefy. Nestled in the Itasy volcanic highlands, Ampefy is primarily an agricultural community. Spend the afternoon strolling through town and taking in the slower pace of life.

This morning we will visit Chute de la Lily, a picturesque 26-meter waterfall flowing from an old volcanic crater. The falls were renamed Lily by a colonial settler after his daughter. We will also see the geysers of Ampefy, where hot sulfuric springs bubble up from the volcanic ground. The local mud is said to have healing properties. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, soaking in the natural beauty of this region.

Bidding farewell to Ampefy, we wind our way towards Antsirabe, Madagascar’s “Vichy,” renowned for its invigorating mineral water bubbling from the very earth. As we journey through the countryside, prepare to be dazzled by a tapestry of landscapes – rolling hills, verdant valleys, and perhaps even the majestic silhouettes of volcanic peaks.
