How to Book and Manage Experiences on Gold Coast XP

Once you’ve found amazing tours, activities, events, and stays in Africa on Gold Coast XP, it’s time to book them for your upcoming trip! Our secure booking process and account tools make it easy to reserve, manage, and keep track of all your bookings.

Booking Listings

Booking your next tour, activity, event, or stay on Gold Coast XP takes just a few simple steps:

1. Select an Experience

  • Browse or search for experiences in your destination that match your interests.
  • Click on listings to check details, reviews, photos, and availability on your preferred dates.
  • Once you’ve found the perfect experience, click the “Reserve” button on the listing page to begin booking.

2. Provide Booking Details

  • On the reservation form, select the number of guests that will be attending and participating.
  • Choose any extra add-ons(if available), you would like to include and customize your experience.
  • Click “Continue” when finished to proceed.

3. Confirm Your Details

  • Carefully review the booking details including date, time, location, extras selected, number of guests, and total price breakdown.
  • Make sure all information entered is accurate before proceeding.

4. Securely Pay for Your Booking

Gold Coast XP partners with Stripe to offer easy and secure payments for bookings and payouts to hosts.

Card Payment

  • Enter your card details including number, expiration date, CVC code, and billing address.
  • All payments are processed by stripe
  • Click “Complete Payment” to finish booking your experience.

Cash App Pay

  • Open the Cash App on your mobile device and bring up the QR code scanner.
  • Scan the QR code provided on the payment page.
  • Submit payment via Cash App Pay to complete your reservation.

After paying, you’ll receive a confirmation email and a mobile voucher for your booked experience! Please reach out if you need any assistance booking on Gold Coast XP.

Managing Bookings

View and manage upcoming and past bookings in your account:

  • Log into your Gold Coast XP account
  • Go to your dashboard
  • Go to “Reservations” in the menu.
  • Bookings are sorted into upcoming, next 7 days, this week, next week, and custom list
  • Click on a booking to view the details

Communicating with Hosts

Contact your host via direct messaging before, during, or after a booking:

  1. Click on the tour, event, stay, or event that you want to book
  2. On the lower right corner below the booking form, click on ‘View Profile’ to see the host’s profile
  1. On the host’s profile page, find and click on the Message Icon, as shown in the screenshot below, to start a chat with the host.
  • Send any questions about the experience, custom requests, or meetup details.
  • Reply to messages from hosts about your booking.
  • Rate and review hosts after completing experiences.

Leaving Reviews

Share your experience with others by leaving a review:

Hosts appreciate 5-star reviews! But always be honest.

  • Mention highlights and anything unexpected about your experience.

Rate 1 to 5 from your experience on :

Overall experience, atmosphere, ease of access, value for money, the value of money, event punctuality, and venue facilities.

  • Keep reviews family-friendly. They are public and unedited.
  • Bad experiences should be reported privately to Gold Coast XP first.
