Creating An Account

You can create an account on Gold Coast XP as a host by following these steps:

Creating An Account (Host)

You will have an option to ‘Sign in With Google‘ to create the account or enter your details manually:

  • Display Name – Click on this and type in the display name to identify yourself on the platform. This will be shown publicly.
  • Username – Click on this and type a unique username with letters, numbers, underscores, and dashes only. This will be used to log in.
  • Email Address – Click on this and type your contact email for account notifications.
  • Password – Click on this and create a secured password using a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
  • Offerings – Select all offerings you provide: Activities, Events, Places, Stays, and Tours. This determines the listings you can create.
  • Profile Picture – Upload a clear photo of yourself. This will be public on your profile.
  • Agree to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
  • Click on ‘Sign Up‘.

Account Confirmation

A confirmation code will be sent to your email. Go to your inbox, copy the code, and submit it on the website to confirm your account.

Complete Profile

To finish setting up your account, you’ll complete these sections:

  • Account Details – Enter your full name and phone number for internal administrative purposes.
  • Profile Details – Add a bio, tagline, offerings, and profile picture.
  • Offerings & Operation – Specify if you’re a registered business, operation type, and professional qualifications.
  • Service Regions – Select the primary city where you offer services.

Account Details

  • Click on ‘Full Name‘ and type your first and last name. This will be used internally by Gold Coast XP for identification and administrative purposes. It will not be displayed publicly.
  • Click on ‘Phone Number’ and enter a phone number where Gold Coast XP can reach you privately. This will be used internally for administrative purposes if needed. It will not be displayed publicly.

Profile Details

  • Click on ‘Display Name‘ and enter the name you want to be displayed publicly to identify yourself on the platform.
  • Click on ‘Bio‘ and write a short biography to introduce yourself to travelers. Share your background, interests, and what makes you unique.
  • For ‘Tagline‘ enter a short, catchy phrase that summarizes your offerings. This will be displayed publicly.
  • For ‘Profile Picture‘ click the ‘Upload‘ button to select a photo file from your computer or device to represent yourself visually. Choose a clear, friendly picture. This will be public.

Offerings & Operation

  • For ‘Registered Business‘ indicate Yes or No if you operate your offerings as a registered legal business entity.
  • For ‘Operation Type‘ specify if you operate individually or have a team to help manage your offerings. This helps Gold Coast XP tailor your tools and profile.
  • Under ‘Offerings‘ select all offerings you provide: Activities, Events, Places, Stays, Tours or Products/Services. These selections determine the types of listings you can create.
  • For ‘Are you a professional‘ select Yes or No to indicate if you have professional qualifications directly related to the offerings you selected. List your profession(s).

Service Regions

  • Select the primary city where you are located and can provide your offerings in person. This helps connect you with local guests. A list of African countries/cities will be provided to choose from.

You can create an account on Gold Coast XP as a customer by following these steps:

You will have the option to ‘Sign in with Google‘ or enter details manually:

  • Display Name – Choose a name to identify yourself on the platform. This will be public.
  • Username – Create a unique username with letters, numbers, underscores, and dashes.
  • Email Address – Your contact email for account notifications.
  • Password – Create a secured password using a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
  • Agree to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
  • Click ‘Sign Up‘.

Account Confirmation

  • A confirmation code will be sent to your email. Go to your inbox, copy the code, and submit it on the website.
  • Your customer account is now ready to start discovering and booking travel experiences!
